Other Non-Invasive Procedures

1. Follicular Monitoring :

Follicular monitoring refers to recording the development of follicles, both number and size, and is done by transvaginal ultrasonography (TV-USG). Follicle monitoring with or without ovarian stimulation is performed before intra uterine insemination (IUI)/timed intercourse (TI)/in vitro fertilization (IVF). When ovarian stimulation is done with Gonadotrophins (injectables), monitoring starts around D7 but if oral agents (tablets/capsules) are used, monitoring is delayed till D11.

2. Timed intercourse (TI):

It is recommended for patients with ovulatory disorder. Following ovarian stimulation, monitoring & ovulation induction the couple is advised to have intercourse for next 2-3 days.
